Book Review: A New Dawn In Montana by Isla Teague

Rating:

This is how short stories should be

One of the most beautiful short stories I’ve read, “A New Dawn in Montana” follows Holly, a British photographer who just inherited her estranged father’s ranch in Montana and Ben, the “annoyingly” handsome neighbor who owns the spread beside Holly’s father’s ranch.

In 407 Kindle locations, the author related how Holly’s estrangement from her father affected her and how she was able to overcome it. The tender feelings between Holly and Ben was just a tendre, and this was also resolved in a beautiful way at the ending.

Short and concise, the author did not waste any words. All characters were fleshed out nicely. Aside from the main love story, there were also two subplots that were also resolved. Talk about great storytelling!
