Book Review: Almost Married by Carol Grace

Rating:

How to mend two broken hearts
5 Stars

The third book in the Miramar Inn series that began with Lonely Millionaire, “Almost Married” follows Laurie who is Mandy’s sister, owner of the Miramar Inn. The bulk of the book takes place in Upstate New York, by the Niagara Falls area to be exact.

A romantic place with two unexpected lovers who were both nursing broken hearts while babysitting an infant who is the child of their common friends. There were several dicey moments and of course, having a baby around was a challenge to say the least.

Sweet, poignant and tugs at your heartstrings, “Almost Married” is good reading on a lazy weekend or while on vacation. The chemistry between Laurie and Cooper cannot be denied.

But, for those who has read the series, I would like to say that this book being third in the series also sits third in level of enjoyment. In Lonely Millionaire, Mandy and Adam are just so lovable and tugs at your heartstrings. In Wanted: Husband, Carrie and Matt are so adorable. In, Almost Married, Laurie and Cooper are just plain cute.
