Book Review: Bo (Bad Boys of Retribution MC Book 3) by Rie Warren

bo book coverWith Bo , the third book in the Bad Boys of Retribution MC, author Rie Warren has gone from strength to strength as it follows the highly successful first two books – Hunter and Kinkaid.

Known for creating very colorful and varied characters, Rie Warren has the Retribution MC members as different from each other as much as possible. With Hunter as a part-time Dad trying to save his family from his treacherous past and Kinkaid a male stripper moonlighting as a bartender during his off days, Bo Maverick is on the other end of the spectrum – a real military hero albeit dealing with PTSD.

All three men are broken; and right before our very eyes, like metals, they are reforged to become stronger and better.

And this statement resonates more in the story of Bo compared to the other two. With the kick-ass attitude of shoot now, ask questions later that is reminiscent of Ms. Warren’s own “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” series, Bo brings readers to a dark place.

With the help of his friends and a very special woman, Bo finds his light, but at a very steep price. Placed between a rock and a hard place, Bo has to use all the military training he had to keep himself and all the people he loves alive.

Bo is Rated M for Mature due to violence and sexual content.
