A modern day Romeo and Juliet except that the family feud began when 21-year old Zak started a romantic and sexual relationship with 17-year old Tess. They promised each other that they will love each other forever, but it was short lived. With both their fathers against the relationship, the young lovers did not have any chance.

Zak was sent to France wherein only after few months he got married while Tess ran away and promptly got married also. Fast forward 7 years when both of them are once again free. Or are they. The family feud continues while Zak and Tess have issues of their own. Zak is trying to save the bald eagle but Tess is logging the eagles’ natural habitat. Will they be able to rekindle their romance against all odds?

“Broken Promises” is a story about second chances and learning to trust again the person whom you loved most but betrayed you in more ways than one.
