Cowboy Heaven started innocent enough. Forty-two-year-old Angela McClure gave Troy, a down-on-his-luck rodeo cowboy a ride. As it turned out, Troy needed a job and the Kincaid Ranch was one cowboy short with Dusty, one of the ranch hands recuperating with a broken leg.
Angela who was widowed two years ago had been celibate since her husband died. With Troy’s ripped body and sexy blue eyes, Angela began dreaming sexual fantasies with him, Walter Mitty style.
But, her fantasy turned into reality when 31-year-old Troy confessed that he found Angela very attractive. And thus, a cougar was born!
That said, it would have been easy to say that “Cowboy Heaven” is Cougar Town set in a ranch. Well, it is only about 10% true. Ms. Brooks as always surprises her readers and this time around, she added a mystery element in the form of whodunit.
Plus, Ms. Brooks kept the readers guessing who among the sexy cowboys in her ranch she will choose to be with for her happily ever after.
A fun and sexy read with lots of laugh out loud moments. Cowboy Heaven in Rated M for Mature due to language and sexual content.
When lonely widow Angela McClure hires a gorgeous hitchhiking cowboy with an affair in mind, she knows they’ll have to be discreet: her old-fashioned father and the stern ranch foreman adamantly discourage any interaction between her and the ranch hands.
Things can get hot as hell…
Despite their attempts at secrecy, the heat between them is undeniable. To divert suspicion, Angela forms a new plan: she’ll flirt with all of the ranch hands. Suddenly Angela has a whole stable full of sexy-as-sin cowboys to play with, but only one can win her heart.
