Book Review: Duke of Pleasure by Elizabeth Hoyt

Another great addition to the Maiden Lane series, “Duke of Pleasure ” follows Hugh Fitzroy, the Duke of Kyle and Alf, a brave young woman who was an orphan and current incarnation of the famed Ghost of St. Giles.

To Alf, it started as a simple rescue, then it became a temporary employment. Finding herself living at the Duke’s residence, Alf experiences a home life she never had and liking it. She was scared that she would lose her independence, but to her the real danger was falling in love with the Duke.

Alf would not endanger her heart, but she freely chooses to face danger with the Duke of Kyle as he faced the group called Lords of Chaos. The problem was that she might not survive both.

The “Duke of Pleasure ” is Rated M for Mature due violence and sexual content.
