Childhood best friends, Olivia Canaday and Jake Lassen took different paths after high school. Jake joined the military while Olivia went on to be a member of the U.S. Equestrian team.

In the 12 years that they were separated, events in their chosen careers made them walking wounded. And this is where author Barbara Ankrum veered away from the now classic “My Best Friend’s Wedding.” Here it became a matter of second chances and of moving forward.

A Fair to Remember ” is a very easy read with two lovable characters that you cannot help but root for.

The book is Rated M for Mature due to adult situations. There is one very mild sex scene.
