Book Review: My Hunger by Lisa Renee Jones

Rating:

my hungerA novella, “My Hunger ” is part of the “Inside Out” series told from Mark Compton’s point of view. Mark is one of the main characters of the series.

First, let me say that “My Hunger ” is a standalone book. Even if this is the first book you will read in the highly successful “Inside Out” series, you will still appreciate Mark Compton’s dilemma and see him as a three-dimensional character.

In fact, after reading “My Hunger ” you might even get interested to read the series, which by the way, there are 11 books planned and this is the 7th.

In “My Hunger”, we find Mark facing several crises all at once – the death of Rebecca, a scandal at San Francisco Gallery, the press and the police investigating both incidents and a family emergency that send him back to New York.

Amidst all this, Mark also has to face his growing attraction with Crystal, which in his eyes is out of control. And for a BDSM Master, that is the worst position to be in because after all, control is everything!

This book is rated M for Mature due to sexual content.
