Betrayals- Imagined or Otherwise

A tale of miscommunication, Rafe and Alicia were in love, but their hang-ups prevented them from communicating effectively with each other that costed them seven years of being apart.

Alicia is the daughter of Rafe’s boss. Living under the shadow of her father, a successful hedge fund manager gave Alicia the poor little rich girl syndrome. So when she became romantically involved with Rafe, her father’s protege, Alicia assumed the worst when she overheard a comment that Rafe was just using her to get ahead.

The son of an Argentinian immigrant, Rafe was focused on becoming financially successful. He truly loves Alicia but also assumed the worst when he caught her in a compromising situation.

Alicia and Rafe’s break-up led to Alicia moving to Europe for 7 years. But now, she’s back! Alicia finds out that her feelings for Rafe had not changed. She still loves him, but she feels even if they could bridge the gap between them, Rafe who loves perfection could not accept her because she is damaged goods.

The story tells how these dysfunctional lovers find a way to clear up the past so that they could move forward with their lives.
