Book Review: Our Little Secrets by Merry Farmer

Rating:

our little secretsFleeing Philadelphia to escape her demanding stepfather, Charlotte Baldwin found herself in Montana and accepted a marriage proposal from Michael West, a man she just met. Doing so, Charlotte automatically got a new identity as Mrs. West while Michael gets somebody to help him in his store.

Definitely a marriage of convenience; what they did not expect is the chemistry between them. Everything would have been perfect except that both had agreed that they would not ask each other about their past. Unfortunately, the past would haunt them and it had the power to break and separate them.

A steamy love story with suspense woven in, Our Little Secrets grabs your attention from the first page to the last. Charlotte and Michael are so lovable. And their friends are very colorful and thus adding a lot of drama in the story. Phineas Bell, a supporting character is worth a mention in this review. His story, though very sad is also inspirational in some degree.

Our Little Secrets is rated M for Mature due to sexual content and violence.
