Book Review: Love by Design by Evie Knight

love by design“Love conquers all.” If there ever was a couple that this description fits to a T, its Tristan and Mandy, the hero and heroine of “Love by Design” whom you cannot help but fall in love with!

A personal assistant who dreams of being a shoe designer, Amanda Roberts finds herself always inspired to draw when she is sitting in her favorite corner of Tristan’s bakery. Because Amanda won’t eat any of his cupcakes but drink only tea, bakery owner and self-taught confectionery chef, Tristan James found her intriguing.

Exchanging surreptitious glances with each other, Amanda and Tristan finally got together against all odds. And though they will never be called ill-starred lovers, these two will go through so many trials and tribulations before they will get their happily ever after.

Told as a third person account through the points of view of Amanda and Tristan, “Love by Design” is written in sweet and dreamy prose that makes the reader feel that everything is possible if there is true love.

And yes, there are steamy scenes, which quite frankly, in this era of “Fifty Shades of Grey”, author Evie Knight was able to make the sexy scenes dreamy!

Love by Design is a great read on lazy afternoons that you won’t mind feeling hot and bothered afterwards. The book is Rated M for Mature due to sexual content.
