Book Review: As Rich as a Rogue by Jade Lee

as rich as a rogue255In this delightful series of Rakes & Rogues Regency, author Jade Lee continues to entertain her audience with “As Rich as a Rogue,” the story of heiress Mari Powel and Peter Norwood, better known as Lord Whitly.

Mari and Peter are two lovable characters when they are apart. When they are together, sometimes you wonder if they are not star-crossed lovers but actually quite incompatible. Yet Lee made readers root for them as the two got embroiled in a sinister plot that can change the British aristocracy.

A Regency romance from the first page to the last, there is also a whodunit element in “As Rich as a Rogue” which by the way kept the reader guessing until the very end.

An enjoyable read, “As Rich as a Rogue (Rakes and Rogues)” is Rated M for Mature due to mild sexual content and violence.
