Book Review: The SFP LookBook Atelier to Runway: New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015

The SFP LookBook Atelier to RunwayDisclosure: I’m a New York Fashion Week habitué since 2002.

That said, I can say with confidence that “The SFP LookBook Atelier to Runway: New York Fashion Week Spring 2015” by Andrea Kiliany Thatcher, Morgan Beye is a comprehensive coverage of New York Fashion Week, which during the Spring 2015 season is officially called Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

From experience, I know that covering fashion week with over 200 designers showing is always hectic and a lot of work. Between Andrea Kiliany Thatcher and Morgan Beye, they covered the front of house, backstage, hair and make-up, and they even had time to do interviews.

That they created a book out of that coverage is already exceptional; that they added trends and insights for the Spring/Summer 2015 season is an added bonus.

The The SFP LookBook Atelier to Runway: New York Fashion Week Spring 2015 is a great coffee table book for hardcore fashionistas and a good reference material for students of fashion.
