Book Review: Wait for Me / Trust in Me by Samantha Chase

“Wait for Me / Trust in Me ” is actually two books in one which happens to be the first two books of the highly successful Montgomery Brothers series by Samantha Chase.

“Wait for Me” is the story of Lucas Montgomery, former NFL player and the youngest of the Montgomery brothers. After a career-ending injury, Lucas hid himself in his mountain home where Emma, his father’s executive assistant accidentally reached due to a GPS error.

But, GPS is not to blame for what happened next as Lucas and Emma realize that their attraction for each other is mutual.

“Trust in Me” is an off the wall office romance. Jason Montgomery is focused on making Montgomery’s a bigger and more successful company. He did not have time for romance. Meanwhile, Maggie Barrett is hiding from romance to the point of refusing to date.

When Maggie became Jason’s executive assistant, it was a perfect match, right? It was, until sparks begin to fly and can easily turn into spontaneous combustion.

“Wait for Me / Trust in Me ” are two novellas in one book but the transition is so seamless. Samantha Chase worked her magic once again as readers fall in love with the four protagonists.

Be aware though that you will not look at office romance the same after you read this book.

“Wait for Me / Trust in Me ” is Rated T for Teens. The sex scenes are implied and not graphic.
