When author Carol Grace got it, she got it! The second book in the Miramar Inn series. “Wanted Husband” follows police lieutenants Carrie Stephens and Matt Graham who are partners at LAPD. Tired of the smog and big city life, Carrie applied for a job as the Chief of Police at Moss Beach. But to get the job, she needs Matt’s help.
Like the first book in the series, Lonely Millionaire (Silhouette Romance), the story is sweet, poignant and tugs at your heartstrings. Carrie and Matt are the most unlikely romantic couples. Big city cops and partners to boot, falling in love from each other came from left field. But fall in love they did!
A great read and hard to put down once you started. And for those who read “Lonely Millionaire”, it’s nice to catch up with Mandy and Adam.
