Calvin Klein Collection Men’s Spring 2013

MILAN, Jun 25, 2012/ — Yesterday at the company’s European headquarters, Italo Zucchelli, Men’s Creative Director unveiled his Spring 2013 Calvin Klein Collection on the runway.

Mr. Zucchelli presented 38 looks to an audience that included New York Rangers’ Henrik Lundqvist, and New York Knicks’ Amar’e Stoudemire and New York Giants’ Victor Cruz, who were each wardrobed in looks designed by Mr. Zucchelli.

The show featured 12 models who were exclusive to the show, including Joel M. (2Morrow), Paul (Next L.A.), Paddy (Select), Otto (Red), Dae (VNY), Chris Moore (Wilhelmina), Thorben (Fashion), Dylan (Soul), Tucker (Request), Satchel (Soul), and Zac Stenmark (Red Model Management), Jordan Stenmark (Red Model Management).

Mr. Zucchelli described the new collection as all American sportswear in new, relaxed proportions. Overall, the cuts are graphic and uniform, focused on volume and scale. Cropped and generous, lean and slim. Iconic bomber and motorcycle style jackets are shrunken and counter balanced with a tapered, single pleat, tab-front pant.

For evening, the tuxedo is elegantly relaxed and updated with a mesh lapel in buff on buff bonded wool or charcoal on black. Tones of blue form the base of the collection with engineered and abstract prints inspired by California summers.
