With models backstage asking the hashtagged question “How do you #VeryPerry?” Michael Maccari, the brand’s Creative Director introduced his second collection for Perry Ellis.
With Joe Jonas (Actor), Joshua Sasse (Actor), Cory Michael Smith (Actor), Murray Bartlett (Actor), Frankie Alvarez (Actor),Victor Cruz (NY Giant), Tyler Ellis (Designer, Daughter of Perry Ellis), Nick Wooster (Influencer) visiting backstage, the excitement for this new collection was palpable.
For the Perry Ellis Fall 2015 Collection, Michael Maccari continues to play with unique fabrics and untraditional layers of suiting. Inspired by the proportions and stripped-down styling of utilitarian clothing, the designer advances the Perry Ellis man with clothes that look both function and luxurious.
Maccari explores new proportions, shapes and patterns, with silhouettes and designs that allow the designer to put the Perry Ellis guy in volume and sturdy technical fabrics.
