Zang Toi Spring 2013: The princess, the lover, and the modern working girl

For Spring/ Summer 2013, New York-based designer Zang Toi created looks for each of these motifs in collection – the princess, the lover, and the modern working girl

Channeling blissful romanticism via morning gowns to fairytale Cinderella dresses, Zang Toi did it again!

The attention to detail and delicate elegance with which the dresses came down the runway on inspired applause and standing ovations from the emotional crowd. Zang creates an experience, not just a fashion show.

Captivated by the story of two young lovers on the French Riviera, his collection tells a story creating a look for every time of day: for the morning, a ruffled morning gown with a beaded ivory mini-robe, for the office look a sensual collection of pinstripes and visible garters printed on the stockings, and of course, Zang’s evening gowns.

Oh, the gowns. They had every girl in the room wishing she was a Princess. This season’s standout colors are light pink and purple pastels along with creamy whites accented by crystal-encrusted detailing. Dresses featuring plunging backs featured stunning flower elements adding to the romantic aura.

Truly c’est magnifique…..
