Book Review: This is Our Song by Samantha Chase

The penultimate brother in the list, Riley Shaughnessy headlines “This Is Our Song ,” the fourth book in the series. While at this time, we already know the Shaughnessys and have an idea who they are, Samantha Chase throws us for a loop by bringing readers to the heart of the Shaughnessy clan!

Putting everyone together in one place, while also telling the story of Riley and Savannah Daly, Chase masterfully incorporated family dynamics into a romantic story.

A singer/songwriter, Riley feels that he had lost his mojo with the composer block almost a permanent fixture in his head. Enter Savannah Daly, an entertainment reporter who was sent by the record label as a positive reinforcement with an in-depth article in a music magazine for his upcoming album.

There is one problem though. Riley seem to have lost his muse and Savannah was becoming a distraction he cannot afford. It might mean the end of his music career if he cannot get Savannah out of his mind.

This Is Our Song ” is another great read from Samantha Chase. Amidst a time of chaos and divisiveness, a few hours escape in a world of fiction where hopeful family values exist is a balm from the weary headlines. Kudos for Samantha Chase crafting these tender, family-centered romance.

This Is Our Song ” is Rated T for Teens.

Which gives Riley Shaughnessy a lot to prove
